Topic Specific group chats

Find support through topic-specific group chats and talk with individuals who understand what you are going through.

- Within the app, there is a wide variety of topic-specific group chats you can join depending on the type of support you seek. The options are limitless whether you are looking for a diagnosis-specific group chat or a treatment-specific group chat. If you cannot find a particular topic you are looking for, you can create a group chat for others to join. If you seek support in a specific area, others are likely looking for support regarding that subject.

Individual messaging

Individual messaging and chats. If group chats are overwhelming or not what you are looking for, you can find individuals to chat with through our specially curated matching section.

- If you're looking for more personal individual support through meeting individuals, our match feature can help! This feature recommends individual users you can message and chat with based on the questionnaire and the answers you provided. There are no limits to what type of support you are looking for, and we are here to help you find exactly the support you need. These suggestions are based on your answers, so each user's suggestions will look different.

We have in-app group calls and individual calling features.

- Once you've joined a group chat, you can schedule group calls and chat with members live. Some individuals prefer calling over text, or maybe they need a different type of connection, so our group call feature allows groups to have online live meetings whenever they want.

- When you chat with individuals, you also have the option to call them. So, whatever type of contact you prefer is available within the app.

- The support is led by you and your peers going through the same thing. You have endless options in the direction you can take the support, and we provide prompts and message ideas to help you along when the conversation may get complicated.

We ask a variety of questions regarding your diagnosis, your lifestyle, and your needs for seeking support to help us provide personalized suggestions for support groups and individuals who can support and uplift you through your cancer journey. These questions and answers are only used within the app to help provide you with the best-personalized experience and are not shared with any third-party service. We respect and aim to protect your privacy, and you can choose what you share with us, as any answer in the questionnaire can be skipped if you don't feel like sharing.

b. Personalized Search option

i. You can use keywords to help you find the exact type of support or group chat you are looking for. Whether you are looking for a diagnosis-specific group chat, a treatment-specific group chat, a hospital-specific group chat, or an individual your age, using our search feature, you can easily navigate the app and find what you are looking for.
